What is your favorite aspect of recruiting?

Working with incredible candidates! I love the phone call when you tell a candidate they have landed their dream job. 

What do you see as the biggest challenge for candidates in this market? For employers?

The biggest challenge for a candidate is finding a company that will give them a chance. I often work with talented professionals who have been looking for months but if they do not have one requirement, they are disqualified. People are more than their resumes. Hard work and a company culture fit speaks volumes. Working with a recruiter brings back that human touch and gains them a strong advocate. 

In the current job market, employers are facing a large pool of potential candidates for roles. It can be daunting to know where to start, especially if you do not have a dedicated team that knows the type of employees you are looking for.  

What is the best piece of advice you have for candidates?


Work with a recruiter! Find someone that focuses on the industry you want to work in as well as someone you have a good connection with.

What do you love to do when you aren’t working?

When I am not working I enjoy adventuring with my family and friends, reading, CrossFit and watching Hallmark movies. 🙂
