Partner Operations Program Manager

Kirkland, Washington Contract Program Management
Partner Operations Program Manager
Contract | Remote (U.S.)

TalentReach is hiring on behalf of a client seeking an experienced Partner Operations Program Manager to bring structure, visibility, and execution discipline to a fast-moving portfolio of partner initiatives.

This is not a traditional project management role focused primarily on schedules, meetings, and documentation. We're looking for someone who can both establish a lightweight PMO framework and personally execute the operational, reporting, data, and dashboard work needed to keep the organization running effectively.

The Partner Operations Program Manager will split their focus between building a scalable approach to project and portfolio management and directly supporting critical operational initiatives.

You'll create centralized visibility across multiple workstreams, establish practical project management standards, drive accountability, produce recurring operational reporting, and turn fragmented information into clear insights for leadership.

What You'll Do
  • Assess current and upcoming initiatives and establish a standardized approach for tracking objectives, scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, and status
  • Build and maintain a centralized portfolio view that gives leadership visibility across major projects and individual workstreams
  • Develop lightweight PMO templates, governance practices, and operating rhythms that improve execution without creating unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams and drive follow-up and accountability across cross-functional stakeholders
  • Identify and escalate risks, delays, dependencies, and resource constraints requiring leadership attention
  • Own portfolio-level status reporting and executive visibility
  • Use AI tools to accelerate project documentation, organize fragmented information, standardize processes, and support analysis
  • Lead targeted operational projects from initial problem identification through resolution
  • Identify and address operational backlogs, aging items, data-quality issues, and broken processes
  • Own recurring operational reporting, including gathering, analyzing, validating, and distributing data
  • Analyze operational metrics to identify trends, risks, bottlenecks, and areas requiring additional accountability
  • Track program health and operational indicators across areas such as partner onboarding, requests, program participation, support activity, applications, deal activity, and service levels
  • Partner with business leaders to define reporting and analytics requirements
  • Translate business reporting needs into clear requirements for BI and analytics teams
  • Serve as the requirements and quality-assurance owner for dashboards developed by analytics partners
  • Validate reporting outputs to ensure they answer the intended business questions and meet leadership needs
  • Build and maintain project and operational dashboards directly within Smartsheet
  • Determine when reporting should be handled through Smartsheet, Salesforce, BI platforms, or other available tools
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve reporting, data quality, operational visibility, and execution

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications
  • Strong project or program management experience, including ownership of multiple concurrent cross-functional initiatives
  • Experience establishing or improving PMO processes, project governance, portfolio reporting, or similar operating frameworks
  • Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet for project, program, and portfolio management
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Hands-on experience working with Salesforce, Tableau, or comparable CRM and business intelligence platforms
  • Experience performing data cleanup, data-quality analysis, and operational reporting
  • Ability to turn complex or fragmented information into clear project plans and actionable reporting
  • Experience developing executive-level project and portfolio status reporting
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain visibility across numerous simultaneous workstreams
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and execution across stakeholders without direct authority
  • Ability and willingness to personally execute operational and analytical work rather than solely coordinating others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience translating business requirements into clear reporting or dashboard specifications
  • Comfortable using AI tools to improve documentation, standardization, analysis, and productivity
  • Ability to quickly learn unfamiliar processes and begin contributing with minimal ramp time

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within a SaaS or technology organization
  • Experience supporting Partner Operations, Channel Operations, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations
  • Experience managing partner-related programs or operational workflows
  • Experience working with Tableau development or analytics teams as a business requirements owner
  • Experience developing portfolio-level reporting and executive dashboards
  • Familiarity with partner programs, deal registration, partner onboarding, channel operations, or similar workflows
