What You'll Do
- Maintain and enhance an existing technical onboarding and training program
- Partner with operational teams to understand frontline roles and identify skill gaps
- Learn field operations firsthand to ensure training reflects real-world work
- Increase training capacity by improving program structure and delivery
- Design and launch new learning programs for field employees, sales teams, and operational leaders
- Create instructor-led training, facilitator guides, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and assessments
- Deliver training sessions while preparing managers and field trainers to facilitate future programs
- Build train-the-trainer programs that enable scalable learning across the organization
- Partner with HR, Operations, and business leaders to align learning initiatives with company goals
- Measure program effectiveness using business outcomes such as productivity, readiness, ramp time, quality, safety, and employee development
- Continuously evaluate and improve learning programs based on feedback and performance data
- Support learning technology, LMS administration, reporting, and training dashboards
- Help build leadership development programs for frontline and branch leaders
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training, Instructional Design, or Workforce Development
- Experience building training programs from concept through implementation
- Proven success supporting field operations, skilled trades, retail, logistics, manufacturing, facilities, or other distributed workforces
- Experience creating instructional materials including facilitator guides, workshops, e-learning, assessments, and training documentation
- Strong facilitation skills with experience leading instructor-led training
- Experience developing train-the-trainer programs or manager-led learning initiatives
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners without direct reporting authority
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience measuring learning effectiveness using business metrics beyond course completion
- Comfortable working with learning management systems, reporting tools, dashboards, and Microsoft Excel
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing technical, operational, sales, or safety training programs
- Experience building leadership development programs for frontline or branch managers
- Experience managing or coaching trainers
- Background supporting distributed field organizations
- Experience blending classroom, digital learning, and field-based training
- Familiarity with change management and organizational development initiatives
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $90,000-$120,000
